Emergency ×2.00

Emergency

Everything stops. Any hour. Immediate.

What It Is

Emergency is for when your network is down, under active attack, or a critical service has failed and every minute counts. I drop everything and respond immediately, regardless of time zone or working hours. This tier exists because real emergencies justify real priority.

When This Tier Applies

Applies when

  • Network is currently down (full or partial outage)
  • Active security breach or attack in progress
  • Critical service failure affecting business operations
  • Off-hours urgency (outside 10:00–20:00 GMT+7)
  • Situations where delay causes measurable business loss

Does NOT apply when

  • × It's urgent but can wait until tomorrow (→ Remote or Live)
  • × You want faster response but nothing is broken
  • × Pre-scheduled maintenance during off-hours (→ Remote)
  • × The issue is important but not time-critical

How a Session Works

  1. 1 You contact me with emergency description
  2. 2 I respond immediately, any hour
  3. 3 I confirm Emergency tier before starting
  4. 4 We work until the crisis is resolved
  5. 5 I provide incident report and documentation
  6. 6 Invoice after resolution, based on actual hours

Production Network Down

Main CCR at datacenter unreachable after power event. 200 users offline.

2h · $380

Root cause: corrupted NAND after power surge. Booted from netinstall, restored config.

Active DDoS Mitigation

3 AM — upstream reports volumetric attack. Customer-facing services degraded.

4h · $600

Firewall rules deployed, blackhole routes set, worked with ISP to filter upstream.

Security Breach Response

Unauthorized configuration changes detected. Potential compromised credentials.

8h · $960

Attack vector identified, credentials rotated, forensic log analysis, hardening applied.

What Happens During Tier Drift

De-escalation to Emergency

Remote Emergency

Trigger: Crisis resolved, remaining work is cleanup and hardening

Example: Network restored. Follow-up firewall hardening can proceed async.

Billing: Hours in crisis → Emergency rate. Post-crisis hours → Remote rate.

Live Emergency

Trigger: Immediate crisis resolved, continued work needs your presence

Example: Outage fixed, but on-site verification needed for remaining changes.

Billing: Hours in Emergency → Emergency rate. Hours in Live follow-up → Live rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as an emergency? +
Network down, active attack, critical service failure. If the situation causes ongoing measurable damage while waiting, it's Emergency. "I want it done faster" is not an emergency.
How fast do you respond? +
Immediately. 24/7 availability. Typical response time under 15 minutes.
Can pre-scheduled off-hours work be Emergency tier? +
No. A scheduled 2 AM maintenance window is Remote tier. Emergency requires unplanned urgency.
What if it turns out to not be an emergency? +
Tier is set at session start based on the situation as presented. If "network down" turns out to be a disconnected cable found in 10 minutes, you still pay Emergency rate for those 10 minutes — I dropped everything to respond.
